Jade is a University of Oregon student majoring in Education and Biological Anthropology and minoring in Disability Studies and Special Education. They are passionate about making education more accessible for all students and hopes to support systemic change within the education system to allow for more equitable and accessible curricula in their lifetime. Jade believes it's important to tackle systemic issues through multiple lenses and is hoping the education they are pursuing currently supports this. They have dedicated a lot of their time working with the University of Oregon's Center for Equity Promotion and with a local nonprofit to develop engaging and accessible science experiences.
